Issues We Can Fix
Persistent Leaks
Often originating from damaged shingles, compromised flashing, or improperly sealed vents, leaks can cause significant interior water damage if left unaddressed.
Weather and Storm Damage
Severe winds, hail, or heavy debris can lift, crack, or dislodge shingles, compromising the protective barrier of your roof.
General Wear and Tear
Over time, exposure to the elements causes roofing materials to degrade, lose granules, or lose their structural integrity, necessitating professional assessment.
Flashing Failure
The metal strips around chimneys, vents, and roof edges can corrode or pull away over time, creating critical points for water intrusion.
Drainage and Clogging Issues
Debris accumulation in valleys or gutters can prevent proper water runoff, leading to pooling and accelerated deterioration of roofing materials.

We are so glad we chose Loonstyn Roofing for our flat roof replacement. We were dreading needing to have our old roof (and all the other old roofs underneath it that had been layered on before we owned the house, yikes!!) completely torn off and replaced. John and the rest of the crew from Loonstyn made the experience as stress free as possible. They were able to complete the work quickly and for a reasonable price, and took the time to make needed repairs before putting on our new roof, which looks amazing. All communication with them was prompt and professional. We're really glad we found this company!!

Loonstyn was great. We had an ice dam leak over the winter and finally got around to calling them this spring. They setup an appointment for the next day and John came out right on time and took drone footage of our entire roof and showed me everything. He confirmed what our home inspector said that the roof was in generally good shape, minus some of the flashing needed service.
I never felt like he was trying to upsell anything and he was very trustworthy. He suggested a very fairly priced servicing appointment to fix all of the flashing and a downspout box leak spot.
The crew came out first thing the next day and quickly completed the job perfectly. They accidentally forgot one spot, I texted John, and rather than waiting for his crew to get back to my house, he came and finished the job himself.
Top notch, trustworthy service at a fair price! Will definitely be using Loonstyn Roofing in the future.

Exceptional experience from start to finish. Came out when I was in need of work on my roof rather quickly. Identified the issue and recommended solution. Within 3 days my roof was replaced (and that was because they were working around weather or it would have been quicker).
Would absolutely recommend for anyone in need of work on their roof.

I first discovered this company in 2023 when they did my entire roof, and they just serviced it again in February. I’m under contract/ warranty for roofing services every three years, and they handle all necessary repairs. Not only is their quality of work outstanding and prices incredibly affordable, but they are also incredibly nice, flexible, and accommodating. I highly recommend them!

Frank provided a review, explanation, and estimate the very day we contacted Loonstyn, and the cost was much more competitive than other roofers. A couple days later Bob and his crew arrived and after a couple hours had put covers on the gutter and sealed up the roof along the edges of both 2d and 3d floor roofs. The work looks good for sure, and the rapid response and good price are satisfying. I am withholding one star because I won't know how effective the work is in preventing further leaks until the snows return in winter.

They were quick to come out to look at the roof and it was done just a few days after. It was fast and well done. I own my patents house now, they had it 58 years and me for 2. Loonstyn had always done their roof and will continue to do mine.

I believe they performed a good service on my roof, but do not expect anything beyond that or their wish to establish a long term relationship. Initially very quick and efficient service. We had our roof inspected within a day, and were given good information as to the state of the roof and what could and could not be done for it. The estimate was reasonable and a new roof covering was applied in another day. The team that did the work were self sufficient and left the area clean and clear. Unfortunately lack of follow up service and strict adhearance to fine print has voided my warranty within the first month.

Frank was great when he came out fo assess what needs to be done to fix a roof leak. He was fast and efficient, and had drone pictures to illustrate what the current roof condition was. The crew that came to lay down the modified bitumen (most common with Philly flat roofs) was also very fast, efficient, and very clean. There is no trace that they were here.

I’ve had nothing but great experiences working with Jack and his crew over the past year. They repaired siding at my house last year that was immediately put to test with strong winds and rain, and this year they were quick to help again after the snowstorm, when I dealt with issues from the snow on my roof. Jack is very responsive and always explains the issue and the work needed in a way that’s easy to understand. His crew is fast, efficient, and took the time to walk me through what they were seeing and fixing. I really appreciate their professionalism and communication and would happily recommend them!

A gentleman came out to my house last April after my entryway showed a leak cause our area had a ton of rainfall. He got right up on the roof and found an area that wasn't properly sealed, and he sealed it up on the spot- at no cost to me. What was supposed to be a free estimate turned into an immediate solution. He was professional, kind, and personable. I really appreciate what he did and if I ever need roof repairs, I heartily recommend the folks at FM & Loonstyn.

We're so grateful that a friend recommended FM & Loonstyn Roofing when we were in need of a repair to address a leak. When we reached out for a quote, Frank and team responded promptly and gave us a very helpful, thorough explanation of the work that needed to be done. Of all the quotes we received, FM & Loonstyn's really stood out for meaningfully addressing the leak, doing so at a reasonable price, and providing a quick turnaround (which felt especially important as winter temperatures set in). With the repair now complete, we're very pleased with our experience with FM & Loonstyn Roofing overall and would definitely recommend their services. Thank you so much, FM & Loonstyn Roofing team!

Frank and his team are the absolute best! Frank is the only roofer that I would ever call and the only roofer that I would ever refer my clients, friends and neighbors to. He has handled everything from a regular flat roof in the city, to a shingled roof in the suburbs, to a massive multi family property in a historic district for various clients of mine and every single time has delivered the A+ standard of service. Highly recommend !!

Great experience working with FM & Loonstyn. They were prompt in getting out to give an estimate, transparent in their assessment that we weren’t in urgent need of a new roof, patient in answering my many questions, and then quick to get us on the schedule to do the work. Finished product looks good — plus, you get the peace of mind with the 12 year warranty. I’d recommend them to a friend or family member.

My husband and I were very pleased with the work FM & Loonstyn did on our house. We had both our flat roofs and mansard replaced. Replacing a Victorian mansard roof is no easy feat, but the team tackled it tremendously with their expert skills and collaboration. They were always prompt and gave us realistic time windows for when the work would be finished.
Communication with Frank was clear and seamless. Prior to getting our roof replaced, we had a leak. We no longer have leaking and have a roof that will last us years to come. We’re very happy with the final results.

I had a great experience with Loonstyn Roofing. Frank was responsive from the start, came out quickly to evaluate my roof, and gave a thorough and honest assessment with multiple options for repair or replacement. He always answered my questions quickly and clearly throughout the process.
I decided on a full tear-off and roof replacement. The crew did an excellent job, worked efficiently, and went above and beyond by hanging plastic to protect areas where ceilings had been opened for mold remediation. They removed the plastic and even vacuumed when the work was done. They also provided photos before, during, and after the project, which was really helpful.
A couple of weeks later, I noticed a small water intrusion. The team came out quickly, identified the issue, and fixed it right away.
I got several quotes, including cheaper ones, but I felt the most confident working with Frank, and the quality of the work proved it was the right choice and worth the cost. Highly recommend Loonstyn Roofing!
